For the second consecutive year, DockYard was recognized by The Startup Weekly as an Exceptional Place to work in 2022.

The Startup Weekly chooses companies that have a commitment to employee satisfaction and engagement for its annual award.

“At DockYard, we made the shift to be a fully remote team in 2016 to give us the ability to recruit the best talent no matter where they are, and offer our people the flexibility to do their best work from wherever they choose,” said Chief Operations Officer Sarah Woods. “Earning the Exceptional Workplace Award for the second consecutive year shows us that the trust and freedom we give our employees is a net positive, allowing them to carry out their roles producing the innovative work DockYard is known for and advance in their careers no matter where they are.”

This year’s awards attracted a record number of applications across company stages in the United States.

Winners were selected by a panel of judges comprised of top executives, founders, investors, and industry experts. The companies were evaluated based on a combination of employee survey results, online and offline reviews, and industry recognition.

“This year’s award recipients have gone above and beyond to drive workplace satisfaction and excellence. The judging panel was thoroughly impressed with all the awardees,” said Peter Justin, Managing Editor of The Startup Weekly.
